Cyclone Bhola
The Bhola was a category 3 cyclone that hit East Pakistan, Bangladesh and India's West, Bengal in November 1970. The cyclone claimed up to 500,000 lives. Wind speeds topped out at 205 km/h. It is the most deadliest cyclone ever recorded.
It damaged villages and crops, with and estimated total bill of 86.4 billion dollars. The most damage was claiming 500,000 lives, decreasing the population dramatically.
